    Enjoy the honor of being Chef for a Day at Le Mistral Restaurant, where a memorable day awaits you in our kitchen. It's the perfect gift for your favorite foodie or anyone interested in learning more about the art of French cuisine. No experience is necessary to participate.

    Morning

    At 9:30 am, you'll meet Executive Chef, who will introduce you to his team of culinary experts. Together, you and Chef will determine your plan for the day. You'll discuss what you'd like to learn, whether it be how to prepare sauce, poultry, fish, shellfish, or anything else. During this lesson you will prepare a dish you'll later serve to your party, and shadow Chef as you slice, dice and sauté your way to creating and plating the perfect dish.

    Lunch

    Get out of the kitchen and enjoy a delectable 3-course lunch and glass of wine with Chef. You’re encouraged to break for the afternoon and reconvene for dinner.

    Dinner

    You and your guests will feast at the finest table in the house, our Chef’s Table. Dine on the special 5-course menu Chef has created, where one of the courses will include a dish that you worked on with Chef.  Please your palate and share your interactive cooking experience with your guests as you dine.

    This $1,300 package (excluding wine, taxes, and gratuity) includes:

    • Custom Le Mistral chef jacket, personalized with your name
    • Energy Cuisine cookbook, signed by Chef David
    • 3-course lunch with Chef David
    • 5-course dinner for you and up to 7 guests (8 people total) designed by Executive Chef

    Payment Breakdown

    $500 plus tax is due at time of registration

    • $100  - Custom Le Mistral chef jacket, personalized with your name 
    • $40  - Energy Cuisine cookbook, signed by Chef David 
    • $360 - Breakfast, cooking class, and lunch with Executive Chef

    $800 plus tax and 20% gratuity (wine excluded) is due at end of dinner

    • 5-course dinner for you and up to 7 guests (8 people total) designed by Executive Chef

    Reservations

    Chef for a Day is available upon request only on Thursday, with a minimum 2-week advance registration required. First payment is due at the time of registration.  At end of dinner a second payment will be collected. 

    Cancellations must be made, via email only, up to one week prior to receive a full refund. Late-notice cancellations (3 days or fewer) will be charged $140 for the chef jacket and book, which can be retained.
