    Easter is upon as, so it's time to start making Sunday brunch reservations.


    Here are some of the notable meals and events happening Easter Sunday, April 16, at local restaurants:

    Hugo's

    What: Enjoy traditional Mexican dishes, a full bar and live music by Viento. Cost: $42, $15 for ages 10 and younger.

    State of Grace

    What: The regular brunch menu will be offered at this River Oaks restaurant on Easter Sunday.

    Caracol

    What: Live music from Ikaru accompany the extensive brunch buffet of coastal and traditional Mexican fare. Think eggs and chorizo next to shrimp cocktails seafood-stuffed poblano peppers.

    What: The service will include special dish Steak Farina, a bone-in filet with an egg, as well as festive bellinis.

    What: Three-course French meal, including the Foie Gras au Torchon, a duck foie gras prepared in a traditional French style and served with cranberry mousseline. Cost: $36 per person plus $10 for the foie.

    What: A four-course, $45 brunch will start off with a complimentary mimosa and crispy shrimp étouffée balls. Chef Antoine Ware's menu includes a blue-crab croquette and crawfish crepes.

    What: Offered at this casual brunch is the Weekender Menu with an international selection of dishes, including the chicken chilaquiles and the Smoked-Salmon Benedict.

    What: The downtown food hall offers an array of different cuisines, including some newly opened restaurants. For Easter Sunday, there will be an egg hunt and photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny.

    What: At 90 items, this might be the most comprehensive Easter brunch buffet this year. Cost: $98 for adults, $49 for children.

    Prohibition Theatre

    What: Enjoy live theater while you brunch with a family friendly adaptation of "Alice in Wonderland" before a meet-and-greet with the performers. Tickets: $17-$45 per person, and a $20 food minimum.

    Dish Society

    What: Classic brunch items from the farm-to-table restaurant, including pork belly hash and carafes of mimosas. 

    Bistro Provence

    What: A three-course prix-fixe menu of French dishes, smoked salmon, eggs Bénédicte and Hollandaise sauce. Reservations can be made at the number above or at Bistro_provence@sbcglobal.net
